Kwikwetlem First Nation in  respect of our traditional territory, culture and our membership are creating the environment that promotes a higher quality of life for our membership. We are committed to transparency, responsibility, financial accountability, social, health, education, and economic development.

As the AFN 2007 states "END THE POVERTY".

 

Welcome to Kwikwetlem First Nation!

Location:

We are a First Nation located in Coquitlam, BC, Canada. We have two reserves that are nestled against the Coquitlam River, IR#1 close to the mouth of Coquitlam River that drains into the Fraser River and is about 6.5 acres in size. There are from 20 to 25 members and non-members that reside there.

IR#2 is in Port Coquitlam, further up Coquitlam River, it is about 202 acres in size with a population of about 6 people. Future development is planned for IR#2 to encourage more members to move back home.

Number of Members:

Kwikwetlem First Nation currently has 63 members that reside throughout Western Canada and the United States.
