New Funding helps Nation create a safer, sacred Cemetery to honour our ancestors and loved ones

kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation receives new funding to upgrade and protect its historical cemetary, including $300,000 from the First Nation Land Management Resources Centre and $387,000 from the First Peoples' Cultural Council. Our Historic Cemetary serves as a sacred final resting place for our Elders and Ancestors as well as extended family and relatives from other First Nations.
