Indigenous artist shares kʷikʷəƛ̓əm story through murals at new healing centre. Rosalie Dipcsu painted two murals and created stencils for the Red Fish Healing Centre at səmiq̓ʷəʔelə/Riverview Lands in Coquitlam.

People living with complex mental illness and addictions have access to a new purpose-built treatment centre with a model of care that is innovative and progressive – the first of its kind in North America. The Red Fish Healing Centre for Mental Health and Addiction is a 105-bed centre that provides several levels of care within the same facility to help people progress to their recovery and eventually reintegrate into their home communities

February 12, 2019 — Kwikwetlem First Nation hosted an historic canoe dedication ceremony on the Riverview Lands where, in partnership with the Province of BC, BC Housing, and the City of Coquitlam, they dedicated a canoe to the new Healing Spirit House at Riverview, set to open in March.
