The kʷikʷəƛ̓əm Government is comprised of an elected Chief and two elected Councillors (called yəw̓en̓ si:ʔem̓). They are elected by a majority vote of registered members of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation who are 18 years of age and older. They currently serve a four year term. The process for electing our Chief and Council is outlined in our Custom Election Code.
