Heads of Family

Traditionally, kʷikʷəƛ̓əm Family Heads were spokespersons for their extended family groups, who as leaders, lived in accordance with kʷikʷəƛ̓əm shared values, taught and mentored other members and humbly served their families with the intent of benefitting the entire community. The Heads of Family Advisory Committee is not a decision-making body, but provides advice and guidance to the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm government.
