The kʷikʷəƛ̓əm Nation has the authority to enact laws regarding the protection, development, use, possession and management of our reserve lands and natural resources, and thereby honour our responsibility to preserve, protect, and enhance kʷikʷəƛ̓əm land, waters, resources, heritage, language, and culture.  We also can pass laws regarding the election of our leaders through our Custom Election Code.
