Kwikwetlem First Nation and Metro Vancouver jointly announce the renaming of Colony Farm Regional Park to as ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park and Colony Farm Road to as ƛ̓éxətəm Road on July 1, 2023.

kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation announce new Sockeye Hatchery Hatchery is being built nearby the Coquitlam Dam in the heart of the Nation’s traditional, ancestral and unceded territory known as the skʷƛ̓əma:ɬ x̌acaʔ (Coquitlam Lake) Watershed. The kʷikʷəƛ̓əm Sockeye Hatchery is being led by kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation in partnership with BC Hydro, Metro Vancouver and Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
